Guest guest
, High Vit Cod Liver Oil from Green Pastures has been excellent for my boys' eye contact and visual stims. They weigh 34 pounds and I give them 1/2 TBS one time per day. Within a couple of days we saw major improvements. I also give 900mg per day of Acetyl L Carnitine to help with absorption of CLO and Fish Oil. Dana From: mommytime5 <sandyoaks@...> Subject: Hand flapping - - Visual Stims like crazy - I'm ready to start treating him! Date: Friday, January 30, 2009, 9:26 PM My son seems like a typical kid at a glace, but he is CONSTANTLY waving his hands around in his face, at others, makes explosion noises. My other 2 boys are doing it because they see him do it ALL THE TIME! I need it to stop! I'm ready to work! He's 8, tall and skinny! I need to know if I'm on the right track before I begin. My son: Can be very anti-social with almost constant Visual stims and he's difficult when you ask him to do ANYTHING for you. I would like to give: High-dose Vit C (already have) Folic Acid (bought today) I'll need to fight yeast right? Probiotics and Candidase or GSE Virastop Should I give Amino Acids? Where do I get them, what are they called? How much do I give of which? Where do I get Probiotics (if I should)? Where do I get GSE (if I should)? Is there a name brand of probiotics? Would you recommend anything else? IF YOU CAN STOP THE HAND WAVING I'LL FOREVER BE IN YOUR DEBT!!!! Thanks,

Guest guest
> > My son seems like a typical kid at a glace, but he is CONSTANTLY > waving his hands around in his face, What my son needed to eliminate visual stims is written here http://www.danasview.net/issues.htm > I'll need to fight yeast right? > Probiotics and Candidase or GSE Yeast is usually a problem for many kids. What you indicate above can work. I would add biotin and magnesium also. > Virastop This will help eliminate viruses, which was one of my son's causes of visual stims, but viral die off does tend to cause more yeast, so watch for that. > Should I give Amino Acids? > Where do I get them, what are they called? Whould giving a epson salt bath every other day work for the magnesium part? How do I know when my son is having viral die off? OR when will I know that he is having a yeast problem??? Guest guest
, One word of caution. It is best to decide what to attack first and proceed slowly. Otherwise, you may not know what might cause a negative reaction or what is actually helping. If you do anti virals first, introduce one for a week or so, then introduce another. If you do CLO first, then intro it for a week then go to OLE and then Lysine. For us, CLO alone helped with the eye contact and visual stims pretty quickly. We later introduced antivirals. Guest guest
Well, right now I have him taking an addition small amount of B vitamins and an additional 200 mcg folic with his regular multivitamin. The B's folic was supposed to help with his extremely dry lips. I think it is working. Now I'll do the CLO. We have a Wholefoods up here. I don't know where the cheapest place to go to get this. So you can't taste it in orange juice? How do you know when they will develop yeast?? How do you know when they are experiencing viral die off?? I'm so new to this and Soooo clueless! So the CLO doesn't cause yeast, right?? Thanks again, > > > > > > My son seems like a typical kid at a glace, but he is CONSTANTLY > > > waving his hands around in his face, > > > > > > What my son needed to eliminate visual stims is written here > > > > http://www.danasvie w.net/issues. htm > > > > > > > I'll need to fight yeast right? > > > Probiotics and Candidase or GSE > > > > > > Yeast is usually a problem for many kids. Guest guest
I can tell when my guys have yeast issues because they start to head shake (like they are shaking there head " no " but it is a stim). They also don't react as quickly when I call their name. Different kids react differently. I have to special order our CLO from www.greenpasture.org We used Carlson's CLO and Nordic Naturals for a year and I did not notice any benefits. The Green Pasture's brand is a high vitamin (meaning it has more Vit A in it than other brands). It is also pharmaceutical grade. Of course, you might see good things from other brands, but if you do not, try the Green Pastures brand. Guest guest
How do you know it's yeast and not a reaction to too much VitA ?? > > > > > > > > My son seems like a typical kid at a glace, but he is > CONSTANTLY > > > > waving his hands around in his face, > > > > > > > > > What my son needed to eliminate visual stims is written here > > > > > > http://www.danasvie w.net/issues. htm > > > > > > > > > > I'll need to fight yeast right? > > > > Probiotics and Candidase or GSE > > > > > > > > > Yeast is usually a problem for many kids. Guest guest
> How much probiotics? How much biotin and magnesium? Depends on the child and which probiotic you are using. I started with 400mcg biotin and worked up. The more deficient in biotin he is, the more magnesium he will need. >>Whould giving a > epson salt bath every other day work for the magnesium part? Sometimes. > How do I know when my son is having viral die off? OR when will I > know that he is having a yeast problem??? Viral die off causes a lot of yeast overgrowth. That was my main sign, along with various rashes, and improvements. Yeast info http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Dana
