Guest guest
My guess is that it is not staph ... it is very difficult to rid yourself of that... My niece lost all of her fingers and all of her toes because of MRSA ... She nearly lost her life. Even two years later her immune system has been destroyed and her kidneys work questionably .... uugh. Fifths Disease is often associated with a pox like rash without being pus filled... perhaps that? The child usually gets ill ... gets better and then breaks out with a rash all over their body ... It usually clears up in a very short space of time. It is the fifth most common childhood disease. It is dangerous to pregnant ladies and their unborn children... Do you give anti-virals, like OLE, Virastop, vitamin C, or lysine? Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana! My youngest(gi child) does on occaission get a rash for different reasons. But this was different. It was all over the body. My oldest son fairly healthy had gotten it at one point also. At first I thought an allergic reaction to something, possibly even a bug bite reaction. It was just different!! You mentioned virus, this is possible! When I googled it, to my surprise there has been a mysterious rash that has appeared throughout the states and even seen net news of it in other countries. Doctors dont know what it is, some say possibly a new virus they dont know about. It seems harmless, just annoying! I even came accross some sites that thought more crazy things like bio terriosm etc. I think you mentioning viral is possible. It made me think of someone who broke out with something like a measle, pox, etc. but it only lasted through about 24hrs. I was just more curious if anyone has had this happen. I posted in other groups and a couple did respond, 1 said it had pus(this sounds like the pox) and one said it had no pus/scab(that was how it was with my boys) someone even said that when she heard about a wierd rash that it was possibly thought to be mites from locusts! Who knows, I was just curious! Yes I use antivirals as needed. This rash came and went away really to quick to treat, I did do a bath with them and apple cider vinegar, this gave some relief and I think possibly got rid of it or as mentioned, it was something that went away quick! Thanks for the info!! Jennie<>< danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > Some of you may recognise this topic from other group!
