Guest guest
Apart from medications, please clean his toys with anti-bacterial or disinfecting wipes. My neightbor's daughter had repeated infections and her mother couldnt figure out why and then it occured that the germs were living in the house, so she got the house cleaned inside out and disinfected all her toys. Now she wipes all her toys every week. Sumaya. <shellbyars@...> wrote: Hello, My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Right now he's had one for almost a week. Does anyone have any suggestions and dosage for something I can give him now to help? He's on an antibiotic as well. Guest guest
My 12 yr old son just went through an ear infection. I poked the garlic gelcaps that I had and dropped them into his ear about 3 times a day and gave him Olive leaf extract (250Mg.) 3x's a day. I also gave him more vitamin C too. He was over it in two days. He also had a fever with his. Yes, I believe it is viral. ear infections - first step? Hello, My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Guest guest
It sounds viral, antibiotics wont help, can actually cause more problems in the long run. Fever, this is the bodies natural source for killing viruses. The motrin well prolong the illness, use very little! Garlic well kill any virus. Add lots of Vitamin C, Olive leaf extract well help also. Our family has been antibiotic free for a long time now due to garlic! Poor little guy, I hope he feels better. Pump the water in him as much as possible and for the fever, less clothing well comfort and a cool bath also. Jennie<>< > > Hello, > > My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Guest guest
Hi , My first thought whenever I hear of recurrent earaches/colds is to look at your child's milk tolerance. Our daughter had 8+ rounds of antibiotics for ear infections between her 1st and 2nd birthdays, but has only had 6 earaches (3 of which we know are from milk exposure) in the almost 8 years since then as we took her off milk 2 weeks after her 2nd birthday. As her reaction takes 4 days to peak and she had been getting milk every day, it took us a while (and an article in Parents' Magazine) to make the connection. I've heard that other sensitivities can cause this problem as well. I don't know if enzymes take care of this kind of problem, as it's a sensitivity to the proteins, not an inability to break them down, which is what I understand enzymes to be for. Hope this helps. <shellbyars@...> wrote: Hello, My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Right now he's had one for almost a week. Guest guest
-Thank you everyone! For his weight (30 lbs) how much OLE should I give him? Do I put it in a drink? I'd read somewhere about rubbing it on his feet too.
Guest guest
Hi michelle:My 2 year old NT daughter has had 3-4 ear infections and I have treated each with Willow/Garlic Ear Oil by Herbs for Kids. You put it directly in the ear. Each has been gone within a day. My 5 year old SPD son has never had one. denice <shellbyars@...> wrote: -Thank you everyone! Guest guest
Awww poor baby...those are so awful. My one daughter had these til we took her to the chiropractor and had her neck adjusted. Then no more ear infections. We use epicor, olive leaf, elderberry, beta glucan 1-3 2-6, and as much vit C as their bodies will take to build up the immune system. Since you are giving antibiotics, are you giving her yogurt or probiotics. You will prolly need to start or increase your yeast protocol. We always try to read the ingredients on the C because so many additive are often added to make em cheaper...and those are usually what cause my kids problems...that and a lot of em are corn based which was a terrible nono for us. Hope your little one is better soon..... Oh!!! for fevers, I freeze coconut juice in ice cube trays and let em suck...it tastes good and has lots of goodies to put back in their bodies....also do watermelon the same way....they love it and will eat lots so that helps keep them hydrated. hth Ronni > > Hello, > > My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Guest guest
> My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. Try removing milk, see if that helps. If not, try addressing yeast overgrowth. My kids' ear infections were mainly caused by yeast http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm If you suspect bacteria, you can try OLE. Wally ear oil [garlic/mullein] can also be helpful. >>I think his > immune system is poor as he is constantly getting colds and such. Try giving vitamin C and lysine, and maybe biotin and/or probiotics to keep yeast under control. >>He's on an antibiotic as > well. Try giving biotin or even GSE, which would address the yeast faster. Dana

Guest guest
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your help. I upped my son's Virastop yesterday and did garlic oil in his ear. His fever has disappeared today for the 1st time in 10 days. Now he's all stuffed up, but I'll continue with the virastop until he's all better. Thank you again!!! > > My 3.5 year old son has been getting recurring ear infections. > > > Try removing milk, see if that helps. > > If not, try addressing yeast overgrowth.
