Guest guest
Have tests shown there is a defficeincy in the b12 or is it protocol that our kids just need more. My 2 year old has just had matabolloc testing the hospital from blood tests. I've not had the appt for the results yest but the Dr has told me there are no concerns. I'm was considering putting him on MB12 (oral) anyway (the kirkman one combined with active folinic acid but these messages are reaaly making me think as my sons biggest problem is speech dealy and oral motor clarity. He is forever choking and just keeps on putitng food in his mouth until he chokes - I don't think he can actually feel it. We've had to do the blood tests through hospital as he is still in nappies so can't do a fasted early morning urine for a nutritional lab - however I know the hospital will interpret the results differently to a nutriional lab so I will remain cautious of this - I ust want a copy of the results.
