diflucan- blood test for liver

we are starting antifungals and probably going to switch up from

Nystatin to diflucan. Dr wants to do a blood test up front and then at

2 weeks because she said 'damage' usually happens right away. Most

folks i have talked to who do diflucan for a few weeks or so dont check

the liver etc. just wondered about others here.
