Guest guest
What is amino acid therapy? My boys have autism but also seem very ADHDish in that they cannot focus and are rarely still. Does Vitamin C chelate lead? What form of vitamin C and at what doses? We use sodium ascorbate from Source Naturals maybe 1500 -2000mg per day given with food. Guest guest
Some practitioners focus on amino acids... e.g. Braverman, etc. Some call it TAAT (targetted amino acid therapy)... It's basically giving the amino acids that show low levels in the blood. Read up on Dr. Braverman (New York). Also Billie Sahley is also into amino acid therapy. I really do suggest you read Deborah Merlin's book, which is $20 at your bookstore on you can download it from her website. _www.victoryoveradhd.com_ (http://www.victoryoveradhd.com) Her husband wouldn't allow her to use ritalin...so she desperately tried natural alernatives. when her kids were in grade 8 her very inspired doctor suggested an amino acid blood test and BINGO,,,, a simple regimen of some amino acids, vitamins, taurine and afew other things did some absolutely fantastic things to her son Westley. Both preemies are now totally normal. also responded nicely to this therapy.... I do believe the kids were taking about 1000 mg of vitamin C. I suggest you email deborah, we are good friends now and she is oh so helpful.... best wishes. cathy
