Guest guest
Hi - I have a three year old son and we've just had some lab tests done and determined there were high toxins of mercury, lead, tin, tungsten, arsenic, cesium, gallium and rubidium. He also had a little yeast and a couple bad parasites in his gut. It was recomended that we get him on DMSA, NAC, Lipoic Acid, K-Pax, Zinc, digestive enzymes, probiotics and fish oil. I'm starting very slowly because all this stuff scares me to death. So far we're not doing very well. The fish oil - Coromega - had vanilin in it and he was acting wild and staring at his hands like he did before we went GF/CF. We are now going try Nordic Naturals. We also started doing the enzymes - about half with every meal and two capsules of the probiotics daily per his Dr. He developed diarrhea - possibly from the enzymes and the probiotics or he did have a bad cold, too. We are going to start the digestive enzymes again slowly and see where that gets us. Any sugguestions/advice would be greatly appreciated since I am very overwhelmed!! Thank you and I am looking forward to being a part of this group - It's always nice to know there are others out there in the same situation. Some kids need them to be given every 3 hours. I used only ALA, and I gave it 3x per day. Some kids don't need NAC and will do badly with it. >>We are going to start the digestive enzymes again > slowly and see where that gets us. Guest guest
Thanks Dana - It is the EnZym-Complete DPP-IV from Kirkman. Dr said to do 2 with every meal and one with every snack. Doesn't this seem like a lot? I'm doing about 1/2 with every meal and none with snacks. (He's 3 and doesn't eat that much) Thanks for the help - Amber danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > Hi - I have a three year old son and we've just had some lab tests done > and determined there were high toxins of mercury, lead, tin, tungsten, > arsenic, cesium, gallium and rubidium.
