Guest guest
what are carotene conversion supps? I think my son may have the same problem. He cheeks were red on the week end when he had eggs and when I went back and checked my notes he had the red two other times once on the cheeks and once on the chin with eggs. Nothing showed up on blood testing for eggs but I am thinking that there is a problem. My son sounds very similar to yours Dana with the mito connection and maybe he has this carotene conversion problem, he does eat a lot of orange foods though squash turnip, sometimes carrots, if I take away orange foods he will have nothing left! his skin (mostly bottom of feet and palms of hands) are quite orange, we get regular blood draws to check organs and all is good there so we are not sure what is the reason for this colouring... AFP Peptizyde helped somewhat, but my son required carotene conversion supps for the yolk, because it is orange. Dana

My son also required selenium, which supports the thyroid. Dana
