Need some advice/input--please!

A week ago my son was displaying for the first time almost all the signs of a

PANDAS episode right after having some dental work done.

Now, thank god, most of the symptoms have either disappeared entirely or

lessened greatly. Still some remaining OCD stuff that's worrisome, but that

seems to be fading daily.

I think the 3x daily dose of OLE and increased biofilm protocol and immune

boosters has helped with this turnaround.

Finally got the script for Zithromax (500 mg 1st day, 250 mg 1x day for 9 days)

But now I'm unsure if I really need to do this. I think we have an ongoing strep

issue w/ exposure via cousin with PANDAS and also dental issues in the family (I

know they are different strains, but after much research I think the antibodies

are also reacting to Strep Mutans in some kids)

Will the antibiotics make a significant dent in the strep that may be " hanging

out " in his system? I do understand that while it is great that the symptoms

have gone away, PANDAS is episodic and it may very likely return.

Is it worth the potential gut/yeast problems? (if we do it, we'll do difulcam

too and also increase yeast protocol, probiotics, etc.)

Is it just a temporary " band-aid " , or can the antibiotics have a potentially

longer term effect?

Am totally FREAKED OUT by all I've been reading about PANDAS lately. But I don't

want to make anything worse by overreacting...

What would you do??? Really need some advice, thanks for all thoughts!!!!

Thank you! Alisa
