Hi Dani,

You could always let you child try enzymes for the constipation. Many people

have found that mixing a probiotic as well as a digestive enzyme into their diet

deeply improved their digestive system.

In the customer reviews on enzymedica.com under Pro Bio someone specifically

said how mixing " Digest " along with " Pro Bio " that it's improved their life in

general.

There's the link if you want to check it out. We have different recommendations

for children as far as taking enzymes goes. If you're interested in trying it

out I can send you some samples and literature on this as well as the suggested

dosage according to your child's age.

Hopefully this will help out!

  • 1 year later...

It's for my 13 1/2 year old Autistic son, no meds yet, need an EEG, he's

had 2 episodes for the last 3 weeks with him resulting in getting dizzy last

night, his eyes rolling in the back of his head & passing out for a few

seconds until his Father was able to wake him up.

We were in the ER for 5 hours last night, blood work, Urine & Cat Scan all

look good, his DAN Dr. suggested seizures last week when we saw him but I

have LONG suspected absence seizures BUT now they seem to be progressing

which is very scary.

His Father started him on one pill of Taurine tonight, so, I guess we have

to see how is goes.

This sounds similar to the minor motor seizures that my daughter used to have.

She started having them right after her dpt vax. There are several meds for

them but for us...time was the key. The meds caused more problems than they

solved. Hers were totally unpredictable and the frequencey was totally

crazy....some months lots...other months few if any...but for us time and prayer

were the answer.
