Guest guest
Hi Amy, I got this off of the Enzymedica.com website under top 20 questions. Here's 3 of them that I thought might help you. I at one point thought it seemed gross too, I had to do some research on it, although blue cheese also grosses me out. Where do we get enzymes? Our body makes enzymes called metabolic enzymes. They are responsible for every action that takes place in our body including digestion. Enzymes are found in raw foods. However, there are just enough enzymes in each particular food to assist in the breakdown of that food.Supplemental plant enzymes are grown from food and measured by their action. They are sold in capsules or powder form. These enzymes can be ingested with food to assist in the digestion of food and the absorption of the nutrients. They can also be taken between meals to energize the body, fortify organs and build our biological defense system. Can our bodies make enzymes to replace old worn-out excreted ones? The body can make enzymes. However, research confirms that it is self-defeating to obligate the body to make excessive amounts of highly concentrated digestive enzymes for digest due to the drain this places on the rest of the organs and tissues. Stress and hard physical labor in hot temperatures seem to use up more enzymes, which could shorten your life. To prevent this enzyme loss from shortening your life span, you have only one solution: you must provide enzyme reinforcements from an outside source in order to cut down the secretion of digestive enzymes and allow your body to make enough metabolic enzymes. Are enzymes from fungus safe? Do they contain fungus? Supplemental plant based enzymes may be produced in manufacturing from fungal, microbial or bacterial sources. The living source produces the wanted enzyme under certain conditions and the two are separated and filtered away from each other. The final enzyme has no trace of the original organism that produced it. Enzymedica goes to great lengths to ensure quality control. We also use 3rd party testing. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask me any other questions. Talyna Enzymedica Education Dept. www.enzymedica.com www.AGRT.org > > this might fall into the stupid question of the week. But my husband has all sorts of health issues that stem from a surgery in November. Won't bore you w/ the details but he went to a homeopathic type dr and sh recommended enzymes after doing a 24 hour urnine. I was looking at the bott.e...Pan from Thera-zyme. All the enzymes are made from aspergillus niger or aspergillis oryzael. So they are based from something that causes MOLD. That doesn't sit right with me. I was looking at the enzymatica website to see where their enzymes are made from... it didn't indicate. it just said " protease' etc.. so thus my question..how DO you make an enzyme. how do you derive it? i feel my DH could be doing more harm than good. > > Amy > Homeschool and Life Blog > Art, Music and Nature Blog > Healthy Home Blog > >
