What exactly is Intestimend for??

I have been giving my son Intestimend per our DAN's request. Why are

you supposed to give it 30 min before meals? I noticed there is Biotin

in there...just wondering what exactly Intestimend does.

We've never used intestimend before, but I give my child biotin to fight

yeast (along with magnesium to support it, also to calm)

We started using IntestiMend recently. When I asked at Brainchild,

they said to use it after getting yeast under control- it is meant to

help the gut heal once things like yeast are under control (it heals

the leakiness of the gut I think). It also offers a lot of sulfation

support, so it is really helpful for phenol reactions. With my NT son

who is EXTREMELY phenol sensitive, it can stop a bad reaction in just

a few minutes. I won't be without it!

What type of Magnesium do you give with the biotin? How much?

Oh, thank you so much for responding I had gone on the Brainchild

website and totally didn't understand what it was supposed to be

doing. You've explained it much better. I can't seem to get it in 30

min before he eats, but I will try harder Thanks again!

I have used both oxide and citrate, and both of them worked here. I

started with 400mg and worked up as required.
