I use tea tree oil. You should dilute it with a little water when using it on

the face. Not sure where you live, but Trader Joe's carries a tea tree oil

blemish stick.

All the best,

Robyn

Hi,

Our preteen daughter has her first pimple, and I'm hesitant to purchase anything

to use on it, as she has chemical and food sensitivities. Can anyone suggest

natural/healthy means to zap zits?

Thanks.

I have the same problem with my son. My sister used lemon juice for her daughter

which worked quite well. I have heard other people talk about tea tree oil and

witch hazel being very good. I will probably try each of these until I find

something that works. I do know that touching and popping them is the worst

thing you can do. My older son ended up with acne because he couldn't leave them

alone. Ended up taking him to a dermatologist.

My daughter swears by toothpaste. She uses Tom's of Maine sensitive teeth. You

put it on the zit at night. It looks weird but it is the best thing that she

has found.

At my house, pimples were caused by food intolerance and yeast overgrowth.

Using digestive enzymes and increasing the yeast protocol eliminated acne here.

For some people, taking vitamin A helps.

Burt's Bee's has an acne oil that works really well, has things like willow

bark, tea tree oil, etc.
