Should I get biotin? I'm not sure what it is.

Should I get GSE? My son does have trouble with too many phenols, but

his tolerance is really quite high and we are now taking no phenol.

Which one/ones should I use?

Thanks for your help!

Ever since I added biotin, we have less of a struggle fighting yeast. You

will probably need both, but I would definitely consider adding biotin. My

son gets 10mg three times a day and it's been working pretty well.

Hope this helps,

It is a B vitamin, manufactured by the good bacteria in the gut, and

the body uses it to control yeast.

> Should I get GSE?

This will actively kill yeast.

> Which one/ones should I use?

I would start with biotin.

Ugh, I'll have to return my biotin. 1 capsule is only worth .5mg.

Does it matter if you take the Biotin on a full or empty stomache?

Does anyone know about this Anultra? Is it GSE or something

different? What is GSE?

So for the biotin how long does it take to get up to such a high dose, this a

new one for me and my son is taking only 300mcg three times a day for a total of

900mcg. I have just ordered the new one from kirkman which is 1000mcg but it is

called D-biotin I am sure it's the same, right? I am in Canada and sometimes

it's hard to get certain supplements here without fillers so that is why I got

the Kirkmans one and also it is in a capsule the one he has right now is in a

pill so I have to crush it, I have gone through two crushers already, they keep

breaking. Anyway for the dosing, how much and how often should I increase I like

to do everything slow but it seems like I am WAY under for the biotin. My son is

Three and weighs about 27 lbs

Thanks so much!

I usually buy this one which works well - and is inexpensive - especially

since we are going through 30mg per day:

http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Biotin

I ramped this one up fairly quickly and did not see a negative reaction.

First day I started with one capsule in the morning. Second day, I did 1

capsule morning and night. Third, one capsule morning, afternoon and

evening. Then I did the same thing to add the 2 capsule.

I would think they're the same, not sure why kirkman's has a d in front of

it.

Hope this helps,

I'm not sure on the full/empty stomach, but I've never noticed any issues

either way.

Thank you ! I ordered my biotin and GSE. I will start with

the biotin. I wanted to read your recovery story and the link didn't

work for me.

Any idea how much GSE?

Thanks,

Shirley

Or start with that dose, and gradually increase.

It did not matter at my house.

Grapefruit seed extract.

It took me about 2 weeks to move up to the highest dose I used with my

son, which was 20mg 3x per day. My son was older than yours.

Taking too much biotin here, especially without magnesium, caused

massive headache.

Taking it without magnesium caused constipation and muscle twitches

[magnesium deficiency].

It can also cause yeast die off symptoms, because it does control yeast.
