Guest guest
> I re-read your ALA section on your site. It sounded like everyhting went as good as can be. Yes, ALA was wonderful at my house. I chelated all four of my kids with ALA, and now I am doing myself. > *They say to use ALA every 3 hours or not at all, did you do this? No, I gave it 3x per day. Some kids will not tolerate this protocol tho. Start at a low dose and watch what happens. > *How likely is it that toxins can move into the brain. I never saw anything that would have been caused by that. > * Will it always increase yeast? Most of the time, yes. It caused yeast overgrowth at my house until about round 50. > * what if I start now without any of the supplements they recommend, my son can't > tolerate them yet The only supplement my son tolerated when I started ALA, was HNI enzymes. I added the other supplements as chelation progressed. He started tolerating a few supps at round 10, most of the others at round 50. ALA does deplete minerals, which for my son was not a problem because he was mineral toxic. But I have had to supplement minerals for myself. > *Did you have a hair analysis test done? Should I test for copper? No hair analysis here. If you suspect copper, try giving some zinc every day. > * What if my son's issue is not related to mercury? What will ALA do? Not much, which is why I liked it. > * Does ALA stress the liver or kidneys? No. It supports the liver and excretes metal thru the bm so does not stress the kidneys. > *How do I find out what a gentle, conservative dose would be for a 26lb child I would start with no more than 5mg, see how he does with that. Guest guest
> > Which brand minerals did you take and how many times? I have TwinLabs multi mineral that I took 2-3x per day as required. I do have bottles of individual minerals that I took as required. Dana
