Guest guest
Dana, Green and orange vegetables?are?a big problem for my daughter, what is the name of the book that you mention? I would love to understand what is going on in her body and how to help it. We also have trouble with phenols. Thanks. Re: Update and New Questions... > > Thank you for your help. > *How would I know if she has trouble converting carotenes? I removed everything from my son's diet that was orange and green [and a few reds and yellows]. He dramatically improved. Oranges, carrots, and peas were the worst. To correct carotene conversion, I gave vitamin C, zinc, and selenium. A book I have indicates that the conversion requires the first two, plus thyroid hormone. Selenium supports the thyroid, so that is what my kids needed for that issue. > She has symptoms of yeast since 2 weeks of age (now 2.5). You can try increasing Candex, see if that helps. > **And I have been giving 125mcg a day(not everyday, I slack > sometimes) of Biotin, is this enough for a 29 pound 2.5 year old? That is not even USRDA, which is 300mcg. My son required 20mg [20,000mcg] 3x per day. Your child is much younger than mine was at the time, but you can probably increase the biotin to at least 300-400mcg, see if that helps.
