Dana,

Green and orange vegetables?are?a big problem for my daughter, what is the name

of the book that you mention? I would love to understand what is going on in her

body and how to help it. We also have trouble with phenols. Thanks.

I removed everything from my son's diet that was orange and green [and

a few reds and yellows]. He dramatically improved. Oranges, carrots,

and peas were the worst.

To correct carotene conversion, I gave vitamin C, zinc, and selenium.

A book I have indicates that the conversion requires the first two,

plus thyroid hormone. Selenium supports the thyroid, so that is what

my kids needed for that issue.

Give biotin.

You can try increasing Candex, see if that helps.

That is not even USRDA, which is 300mcg.

My son required 20mg [20,000mcg] 3x per day.

Your child is much younger than mine was at the time, but you can

probably increase the biotin to at least 300-400mcg, see if that helps.
