you can't do both together as the diflucan will kill the probiotics. I often

tell my patients that are on anitbiotic therapy or have c-diff to use florastor.

and adjust dose to the amount to keep having a movemwnt every day. keep up water

Re: Black flecks

My grandson has these black flecks in his stool and it is also yellow

in color and watery. He is on Diflucan and probiotics. Is there

anything I can give him to help with the watery stools? Its becoming a

problem since he can't get to the bathroom in time.

yes they are affected to some degree if not all at once. it's most important to

keep taking for 6 weeks post abx/antifungal. it's more important to take

enzymes to digest food to give them something to live on. that's why it's best

to take a probiotic that is not in capsule form and on an empty stomach so as

not to " digest them. " hth, linda rn
