Guest guest
you can't do both together as the diflucan will kill the probiotics. I often tell my patients that are on anitbiotic therapy or have c-diff to use florastor. and adjust dose to the amount to keep having a movemwnt every day. keep up water intake. hth, linda rn Re: Black flecks My grandson has these black flecks in his stool and it is also yellow in color and watery. He is on Diflucan and probiotics. Is there anything I can give him to help with the watery stools? Its becoming a problem since he can't get to the bathroom in time. Guest guest
yes they are affected to some degree if not all at once. it's most important to keep taking for 6 weeks post abx/antifungal. it's more important to take enzymes to digest food to give them something to live on. that's why it's best to take a probiotic that is not in capsule form and on an empty stomach so as not to " digest them.
