Guest guest
I think he was saying that he was leaving the group on someones else's request. Something about being informed not to talk about his issue. I thought a monitor talked to him but now I think he did get testy over our responses and blew the scene. I seriously doubt anyone at this point. I ask him who and as of now he hasn't answered. But it will take breaking away from the medical system. (PRWEB) May 18, 2005 -- Depression is not a disease and everyone can recover from it. But it will take breaking away from the medical system. Cases like Pittman (the 12 year old who shot his grandparents) and Yates (the mother who drowned her 5 children) and all the school shootings (every instance involved the use of antidepressants) should prompt us to ask: What is wrong with the mental health system? For example 20 million Americans take antidepressants and use is increasing by 10 percent a year. The fastest growing market segment for antidepressant use is children under the age of 6. Over 250,000 people a year are claiming Social Security disability because of depression. But the public is not hearing the true story about psychiatric drug treatment. Antidepressant survivor and former pharmaceutical industry executive knows the inside story because he lived through a 23 year pharmaceutical coma caused by antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs. Invite this inspiring author and lecturer to discuss the truth about psychiatric drugs and the failure of the Mental Health System. Some key points he will discuss: · Depression is not a disease like the public has been led to believe. · Antidepressants do not fix anything. · Doctors are not doing their jobs by writing a prescription. · The Government can't and won't protect us - they're actually promoting the problem. · The true cause of and solution for depression. · How people's lives are being ruined by a medical system out of control. · An even bigger crisis - government mandated screening of our children and treatment with powerful psychiatric drugs. Credentials: is not a doctor but a survivor of the abuse inflicted on him by a medical system that blindly promotes drug use. He survived 23 years of " treatment " and is a former executive at the world's largest distributor of pharmaceuticals where he saw first hand how corrupt the system is. He is also the author of Irrational Medicine: The Antidepressant Crisis And How To Avoid Unnecessary Behavioral Drugs. Guest guest
It's very normal to have looser stools when you are on a liquid diet! Nothing solid to form a solid stool! Check with Dr O - many of us use Immodium AD for a few days, but I don't know if he allows this. Also, avoid apple juice, as this promotes diarrhea. An old Pediatric nurse trick is this: boil some white rice in a LOT of water, Drain off the water and drink it. Rice, and rice water, is very firming for stools. As long as you are drinking normally, you won't dehydrate from diarrhea. You'd have to be having pure liquid stools hourly for days, with very inadequate intake, for an adult to dehydrate. You can drink as much as you wish - no limits, as long as you drink in small quantities at a time. Sandy RN > I was banded on June 16th by Dr. Ortiz in Mexico. I emailed 4 manufacturers and got truly lame responses from AT & T and Panasonic and none from the other two tho Panasonic did tell me about a phone model that I ended up ordering even tho it only has one handset. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe. & Dreamer Doll (Guide Dawggie) Newport, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rclark0276@... http://webpages.charter.net/dog_guide/ NEW Home Page! Guest guest
Dear Carol, I just got him from the airport, it was a white knuckle ride the ten miles out there on ice. He said there was 200 people stranded in Chicago on standby hopeing to get on his flight. He said there wasn't even wall space to stand by while he had his five hour layover. Thank goodness he's home, if he'd flown through Denver who know's when I would have seen him again. Thank you for your concern! [ ] ? I hear Denver airport is closed, and it's wrecking people's travel plans all over the country since it's a central hub for alot of flights. What about your husband, ? Any chance he'll get home for Christmas? They said on the news it would be closed until Monday or Tuesday. Then all the highways around that area are closed--snowbound. Carol V. (Doesn't it make you want to come back to sunny California? I don't think I could tolerate snow and cold!!! Yuck!! Pretty, but YUCK!!)
