Is this a strep strain? I really want to buy this probiotic, but it

has Streptococcus thermophilus in it and I am a little worried. Could

someone enlighten me? Are there different Strep strains?

Thanks,

paula

Hello /

I contacted a compnay once to ask them this question; I was assured

the " Strep thermphilus is not related to the bad Strep bacteria

I woulnd not use this myself; SOLGAR makes an excellent line; will

send info; Schiff makes a good ProBiotic; not sure about " strains;

The Trinity of healthy probiotics are Acidopolis; Bugarius; and

Bifida.

These ae the orignal pro bitoics from Bulgaria where they live to 120

I think Probiotics werer originally discovered in the milk of Sheep

and Goats such as the Bulgarian people in the mountins would consume;

they developed Yogurt to preserve their valuable Goat and Sheep Mulk;

this is why Bulgarius ProBiotic is consider to be one of the top three

so my naswer is Why risk the child haveing reaction ? get reg. Pro B's

There are different strains of strep, some " good " and some " bad " .

However, for people who tend toward " bad strep " , even the good strains

can cause problems. I would not take this probiotic if you are

concerned about strep issues.
