Guest guest
Dana, Since being on GAPS my son's stools are pale. This program is high on fat. He has severe inflammation and is in pain due to giving him too much OLE and Enzymes. We were trying to address wetting accidents that I thought was bacteria related. We suspect high oxalates and are waiting for the OAT to come back. I ended up dropping all supplements because he was in too much pain and I can't tell what anything is doing. If it is liver stress, I would rather not try herbs. It could be improper fat digestion. I am familiar with the mito cocktail. His sister is on carnitine, creatine, coq-10 and sublingual MB12. I would like to hold off on adding these things as well. Are there any dietary interventions that help with fat absorption? We need to take really baby steps. If not what would you try first? I am concerned about giving anything at this time including enzymes like lipase. I have been giving him baking soda and Epsom salt baths. Will this help with the liver? Do you have any ideas for the inflammation? We have been giving some ginger tea Thanks, Melinda
