Heavy metal chelation

We use a high tech FIR sauna once a week or so. We did use it almost

every day but it got too crazy to fit it in. It's more detox than

chelation and it should be fine with amalgams from everything I've seen

and read.

Could you please share which brand FIR did you use? Also did you use

any supplements along with the sauna? I have heavy metal toxicity

from Aluminium and mercury and I was thinking of using FIR for

chelation. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Hi Sunny,

I don't own an far infrared sauna, but have used one at a clinic as part of a

protocol to get rid of heavy metals. I found the sauna to be very healing and

invigorating. You really sweat in a different way than you do in a steam or

sauna and it is not as draining as the other two were for me. Some people

caution it's use when you have adrenal fatigue and then others make the

argumemnt that the heat is low enough that it would be okay. As far as amalgums

being removed, I don't know except to say that if you are trying to detox from

heavy metals you owe it to yourself to perhhaps start with removing those

fillings in a manner that it won't be too much at a time and overhwlem your

system. And also do it hand in hand with a whole detox program that your dentist

and/or docotor can help you with. I had my amalgums out in the early days of

biological dentistry and detox protocols were simply using chorella.

If you are planning on buying a f. i. sauna, do your homework. Many brands are

cheaply made. They'll use poor quality infrared heaters and woods that can be

toxic - cedar being one and some may use toxic glues. Most of these are now made

in China. There are two that I've researched that are made totally or partly in

the US. Therasauna is one. It is totally made in the US. It's pricey but seems

worth it if you want to make sure of getting a sauna with true ceramic heaters

which put out the most theraputic frequencies. Also they guarratee it being

totally non-toxic. The second is called Saunagen which I think is made in China

but with Canadian wood and US heaters. It's been a while since I'd done my

research as we had mold and water damage to our home which has been the priority

and I didn't want to introduce the sauna to possible mold issues.

Here's a website where you can start your research at Promolife. They have a

very good tutorial to learn about various forms of the f. i. saunas. I would not

recommend getting any kind of sauna tent though, espceially if you are

chemically sensitive as the tents do off-gas. We tried one and it was awful.

Good luck,

If you'd like to see info on our saunas, please request a brochure,

and a pdf doc version will be emailed. It's best to use the

following address as you can then ask me Qs directly with quickest

The consensus is that using a sauna with amalgams in should not

present problems.

The sauna is not " chelation " per se, but it will help you reduce

your body burden of most heavy metals and many toxic chemicals.

The primary supplementation involves electrolyte mineral replacement

and being very well-hydrated. Avoid Alpha Lipoic Acid with amalgams

in.
