I haven come accross much info that would suggest it kills the good bacteria's.

If someone does please let us know! Oil of oregeno is even stronger and there is

some info to suggest it does possibly and to use probiotics. Anyhow in using the

OLE I would still seperate the 2(OLE/probiotics). Maybe one everyother day or if

using daily, one in the morning, one in the evening! Here is a little on the

OLE. http://www.bodyandfitness.com/Information/Herbal/Research/olive.htm

Does OLE kill probiotics? Just wondering if I should be taking them

apart from each other.

Thanks,

Beth

Yes

>>Should one use the OLE for a few weeks, and then start the probiotic after the

OLE is finished, or can they be used together (maybe OLE in a.m. and probiotic

p.m.)??

Give them at least 2 hours apart.

Dana,

Thanks for responding. I was wondering about a few things:

How long does it take to eliminate strep?

How much should my son take (120 lbs)?

Is it safe to take for long periods of time?

Will it help control yeast?

I used high doses of OLE for 2 years, but I was also addressing certain viruses

with it. I don't know exactly when the strep was gone.

> How much should my son take (120 lbs)?

I started at 250mg and worked up. The highest dose I gave my son was 3000mg 3x

per day. Start slow and work up.

> Is it safe to take for long periods of time?

I used it daily for 2 years. Once my son no longer needed it [and I had to move

to other anti-virals], it did start causing problems.

> Will it help control yeast?

Viral die off actually increases yeast, so OLE here increased yeast.
