Guest guest
My son got this antibiotic for an ear infection and had a horrible reaction to it, hives, fever and such. Guess what else he got from it! Almost immediately after we noticed the symptoms of autism. ________________________________ From: nov2957 <bailcthrn@...> Sent: Tuesday, July 7, 2009 11:40:21 AM Subject: augmentin/autism I've been reading about his link, has anyone read anything else about autism and this antibiotic? It's given for ear infections. I do wish parents would learn they could give ear drops for ear infections instead of systemic antibiotics like augmentin. cath
Guest guest
Does anyone know the treatment you would use if you suspect that this antibiotic/drug was what gave your child autism???? I never heard of a link between the two till now and wondering what to do since this is a huge for us as far as what caused our sons autism. Thank you so much!!! Guest guest
My son was on Augmentin for an ear infection and that's when we lost him for good! Wow, I can't believe I finally found the culprit! I found one article that said it was ammonia toxicity from giving the antibiotic. I was looking in Yasko's book for her ammonia toxicity protocol, but it's very confusing so I don't know what to give. Anyone else know how to treat? Can the nerves be " regrown " once they were damaged by the ammonia? Rhonda > > My son got this antibiotic for an ear infection and had a horrible reaction to it, hives, fever and such. Guest guest
Probiotics should be given a couple weeks before (if you had that luxury or knew you were travelling to a third world type foreign Country), during antibiotics/travel and a few weeks after the antiobotic drugs. ThreeLac or Pro bio can be found here goto Products then Probiotics. I've also given my children Rhino Probiotics that you can get at the Vitamin Shoppe and I rotate. Antibiotics can kill the good bacteria/flora along with the bad and yeast overgrowth can occur. If you'd like to be specific as to what the symptoms are for Austism you feel your child is experiencing I could explain some things that have worked for my child that went from Aspergers like symptoms to gifted classes. I'm not a healthcare practitioner so insert disclaimer here. Take Care, Bill Does anyone know the treatment you would use if you suspect that this antibiotic/drug was what gave your child autism???? Guest guest
Dr. Joan Fallon of Yonkers has done some work with augmentin/autism. She has been viciously attacked as well.. There is some mention of her on myomancy..... you may be able to try to regenerate nerves with drinks like noni, mangosteen, but they often have sodium benzoate added as a perservative. But I know these antioxidant drinks can do amazing things....cath
