Is the mb12 a new supplement? My daughter rubbed her lips raw. i believe it

wakes up some nerve endings.

Skin " Buzzing "

My HFA 7yo DS has been running his knuckles over his nose down past his lips.

As first, I thought it was just a new way to try and pick his nose.

After several questions he says his skin is " buzzing. " My DH thinks we put that

idea into his head. But I'm not so sure.

What could be happening is the nerves around his mouth are " waking up " and it

feels like buzzing to him.  It's a good thing, as the nerves regenerate and

heal they begin to send messages to his brain whenever they are touched, etc.

It will get better soon.

When the neves around the face/mouth or affected does this affect the

eating. When my 2 year old was 9 months old he was put on zantac and

domperidone - both full of preservatives(for reflux and gut motility). I was

naive to all at the time. He started choking all the time and couldn't chew

or swallow. Lots of dribbling, his mouth and eyes drooped - there was

definitely an affect to his nervous system.

We now notice each time he has a cold/virus even minor ones he bacomes very

sensory, puts food he usually eats into his mouth but then just spits it

out.

I've been thinking about B12 - I wonder if it will help with this.

It's pretty simple.  Get some distilled water (must be distilled, not

spring).  pour some in a glass (clear) and let it sit on your bedside stand or

where ever is near your bed overnight.  First thing in the morning gather all

the saliva in your mouth (not any mucous, just the spit) and drop it into the

water (before brushing, drinking, etc.  First Thing) and watch it.  If you

have a yeast issue you will see either:  long white legs growing downward from

the spit, clumps of foggy stuff falling to the bottom of the glass, or the water

will turn very cloudy with little patches of gunk floating thru it.  If the

water stays clear, you're okay.

With our guy, when he gets sick, because he is a big zinc user-upper, we need to

increase his homeopathic zinc and his liquid zinc too. Otherwise his taste buds

don't work as well and he doesn't want to eat cause things don't taste good.

However if he has oral motor issues, zinc won't address those issues.

I have the same sensation on the front part of my legs,I think it means MB12 or

folate is low.

At my house, this would have meant I gave the mB12 without folic acid and

carnitine. My son needed those for proper absorption of the mB12.

Try increasing the yeast protocol. Most of my son's sensory issues were related

to yeast overgrowth, and viruses and viral die off tend to increase yeast.

I absolutely agree. My son started to chew/mouth/suck on his fingers after the

first MB12 shot, he became a pickier eater when before he ate anything, and his

speech clarity and oral motor control was immediately better, within the first

few weeks. I believe the MB12 increased his awareness in his mouth, so it would

probably affect the facial nerves as well. That's a good sign that it's working!
