Guest guest
> This is a little off topic for enzymes, but maybe one of you can help me. My son got his MMR titer back and the values are quite high. I can't find online what this means. There are websites that say high values indicate an active infection or an active immune response, but no one says how high is too high. Here are my son's values: Measles 3.27, Mumps 2.97, Rubella 4.69. (immunity levels for this lab are all 1.1) I read once, I don't remember where, that a value over 3 meant there was active virus, altho you might not have the normal symptoms of active virus. I used high dose vitamin A protocol to eliminate measles virus. Not sure which of the other anti-virals I used, eliminated the other two viruses. >>chronic diahrea started 2 weeks after the measles shot. Consider high dose vitamin A protocol http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm Dana
Guest guest
Someone else can speak to the MMR question, but I wanted to respond to the other points. My daughter was at almost the same point (PDD-NOS, ADHD, sensory seeker) then began receiving Occupational Therapy this summer. If you are able to pursue this I highly recommend it. My daughter is the same age as your son and because of the OT (also was receiving speech therapy) she is now making eye contact very well, has improved balance & muscle tone issues, and continues gradual improvement on fine motor skills. Our real leap was with the Audio Therapy. Every kid is different, but I wanted to share this in case it helps you. We were very lucky to be referred to Occupational Therapy by someone I ran into at a kids' activity program. Good luck! > > This is a little off topic for enzymes, but maybe one of you can help me. He had his first MMR at age 3 1/2. Actually, they were separated and he had no problems with the mumps or rubella, but his chronic diahrea started 2 weeks after the measles shot. Thus our journey into enzymes. He has PDD. He developed normally until about 9 mos of age then things slowed down but he never regressed or stopped developing. He speaks in one word or two words but hard to understand, makes eye contact, interacts, but is clumsy, not real strong, motor skills are delayed and obviously speech is delayed. He is a bit ADD as well. He is 4 1/2 now. > > Can anyone interpret these scores and tell me who to call for help? My doctors both say " he's immune, doesn't need the booster " . Yea! Great! But what about his health? > > Thanks to all! > >

By the way, my son got sick the day after the MMR and it lasted 3 weeks. Severe diarrea at first, limiting food, second week vomitting and fever. We went to the peds 3 times during his " illness " . They said toddler diarrea. Dionne
Guest guest
thanks, he's been in OT and speech for 3 years. Helps but not as much as the dietary changes. I am a therapist myself and I believe that all children with sensory processing disorder should have therapy and I'm glad it worked for your child! thank you for your response!
