Hello everyone,

Just need to ask a quick question, my daughter is the one we upped the

B3/B6/Zinc and had such a miraculous recovery, until we upped her Vitamin C

last week, and in 2 days her yeast majorly flared.

WE use GSE drops, biotin, OLE

But Now I need help figuring out how to give her the C and combat the yeast at

the same time. When do you give her the yeast stuff to combat it, (timing)

empty stomach?, before bed?, upon rising? etc. PLus the charcoal tablets ,

are there chewables for kids than can't swallow capsules...Or a stonger version

for yeast control, and do you give it everyday if your child is so susceptable

to yeast flare ups.

At my house, B3, B6, vitamin C, and OLE all increased yeast.

I gave the GSE and biotin at the same time as I gave the yeast-increasing

supplements.

I never used charcoal because my son did not have severe yeast die off symptoms.

Does your child need the charcoal?

It tastes terrible. Best to teach her how to swallow capsules

Natural Factors brand worked well here.

>>PLus what is virostop...

An enzyme that digests the outer cell wall of viruses.

It's not as bad as it sounds depending on how strong the anti-fungal is. For an

adult not on the spectrum it is a feeling of chills or how you feel when

something is coming on, but it's not --it's dye off.  Some can get nasal

congestion & a low grade fever.  It goes away in a few days.

We use activated charcoal 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 after an antifungal but an hour

spacing before a probiotic.  Haven't tried bentonite.  If they can't swallow a

pill I heard putting in grape juice works if they can tolerate it b/c it covers

up the color making it easier for them to accept it.

Hope this helps. Kathy B.

Im starting yeast treatment for my son......... wondering if anyone can

help with their experience of die off?

Is it as horrible and painful as it sounds.

to reduce symptoms would you recommend activated charcoal or bentonite

Do kids take it easily

Thanks

Depends on the kid. My son has never had any of the typical die-off issues.

Just lots of beer smelling poop and improvements. I still keep the activated

charcoal on hand just in case. Heard it mixes well with apple sauce.

Definitely add charcoal and epson salt baths. This has helped immensely for my

son to keep the yeast at bay after rounds.

I have experienced a yeast die off myself. I did a protocol for yeast

through my holistic doctor and the die off was pretty yucky. What I

experienced as an adult, was a lot of headaches, general flu like symptoms,

achiness and tiredness. Activated charcoal does help. It is good to take

it at least two hours away from supplements, as it mops up everything in

your system, thus if you take it too close to your supplements, it mops

those up and takes them out of your body as well. The supplement, Candex,

is very gentle on the body for yeast detox. I have used that as well, and

there are no die off symptoms from that supplement. It does seem to take

longer to work than other yeast detox items, but it doesn't cause die off.

Good luck.

We never had die off symptoms here, we just improved. So negative die off

symptoms are not always present.
