Guest guest
We have always been told that a mosquito and tick draw was a deficiency in B-6 --I swear my son has a sign, that sais bite me. We can all be outside and not get one bite and then he gets welts and tons of ticks on him We have started to supplement him with 5tp5 and it has helped. But look into it, we have heard it many times..... as for bug wipes, we use burts bees wipes or lotion, none of the heavy chemicals, but natural bug deterent scents, and they work great. Jen OT - tick repellent I'm wondering what mosquito and tick repellent everyone uses for their children. We just found one on our toddler last night. This tick was the size of a pin-head. I've never seen one so tiny. I noticed it on his hip when I changed his diaper. It was easy to remove with tweezers, so I think it just got on him yesterday while playing in the yard. But that makes me think they're going to be very thick this year! My older son has had a few in the past too, but always later in the summer and usually after we've been to my Dad's farm or near a pond with tall grass and over hanging trees. Thanks for your help. ------------------------------------
Guest guest
As a bug repellent we use pure citronella oil. We get it as WF and it's not terribly expensive and since it's just an oil, it's very potent. We put a dot on the forehead, one in the crease of the arms and the back of the knees and it wards off pretty much everything. nancy j From: The Sweet Attack <thesweetattack@...> Subject: RE: OT - tick repellent Date: Tuesday, April 13, 2010, 7:20 AM  We have always been told that a mosquito and tick draw was a deficiency in B-6 --I swear my son has a sign, that sais bite me. Once I started vitamin B1, we have had no more issues with bug bites. Before B1, we would be eaten alive by mosquitoes, and the bites would swell up huge. But now, nothing.
