Guest guest
I don't know if this will help, but it's something that i was just told and we will be checking it out with our son. He also eats alot. I think I can feed my horse less than what my son eats. He wants to eat constantly when he is home. He is 13,about 5' 3 and weighs120lbs. A friend who has the same problem with her son said they had him tested and his body was lacking an enzyme or something that told his body when it was full. We are going to ask the Geneticist about it when we go in a couple months. If anyone has any ideas, or your child has been tested for something like this. Please let us know TIA. Rhonda in Ca problems with overeating and sneaking food Our 12 year old daughter is really struggling with self-control now that we have her on digestive enzymes. The enzymes are helping her with all the foods she used to have to be off of. I don't see any of the physical effects those foods used to bring her now that she takes the enzymes. BUT we are having issues with her eating too much. She is home schooled and with me all day. I limit her to one good serving of each item per meal without seconds but for a special occasion or depending on its calorie content. She is sneaking foods out of the pantry and such and she just seems engrossed with food, meals and eating. She is quickest to ask about her fruit for snack time and is using it as an activity. She has recently begun her period, but she has also gained about 40 lbs. since she got on enzymes. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks, Zelime
