making your own yogurt is easy - search on SCD yogurt for instructions

my only caveat is you need to make sure your materials are really clean. I often

wash things again just before I use them. If there is contamination the yogurt

is often not thick enough.  I've even  made yogurt in summer the way they do in

Europe - heat your milk, cool it down and stir in a 1/2 cup of organic yogurt,

starter or last batch of yogurt, cover the bowl and let stand on the counter

overnight. It is not as thick as that cultured in a maker but you can make great

breakfast smoothies with it. Toss in some berries, honey, ice and yogurt in the

blender.   also make chocolate smoothies made w chocolate syrup

this is the first I have heard of this--and would love to try it. My

daughter is GFCF Egg free and peanut free due to allergies. CAn it be

made with rice or almond milk? PLsu where do you get the starter?
