Guest guest
> In late September my son caught a flu\cold that gave him a minor earache Viruses tend to increase yeast, and at my house earaches and ear infections were caused by yeast, not by bacteria. >>him a course of antibiotics. The results were pretty nasty, because the antiobiotics appeared to have triggered a yeast overgrowth which lead - to 2-3 hours of sleep per night with, with constant giggling, screaming, screeching squeeling and hyperactivity e.g. non stop jumping and running around during his waking hours. So bad was the hyperactivity that he developed a bad verbal tic. He was put on a very low dose of Tenex which makes him drowsy, but greatly reduced they hyperactivity and no sleep. Yes, all of those symptoms were caused by yeast overgrowth at my house. > My Wife and I are familiar with the treatment protocol for yeast e.g Probiotics, GSE, Caprilic Acid and the supporting enzymes like No-Fenol and Candidex. We have eased into treatment with simply one pill of everything, as opposed to the recommended dosages. Our challenge is trying to figure out how much Virustop to give our son to reduce the Hyper Activity. Virastop, because it helps address viruses, will increase yeast. If you want to use it, stick with one capsule [on an empty stomach] until you get the yeast under control. >>I remember reading on the forum that many had success with hi doseages of virustop, I believe somewhere in the range of 8-12 pills. I used more than that to address viruses, but I did need a really high yeast protocol in place while I was doing it. >>Can anyone please confirm the doseage of Virustop that has helped to remove some of the nasty side effects of yeast die off? Try using charcoal 45 minutes after the anti-fungals, instead of Virastop, see if that helps. Dana
Guest guest
My girl would not sleep at all on some of the things you give your son.To kill yeast try oregano oil with a drop of honey and water at night and in morning try vsl#3 2 times a day half dose each time and give 2 hours away from OO.Try just this for 2 weeks. No sugar or juice and low fruit. Then every 3 days and one of the vitamins back in (this will help you find the one that keeps him up) She is 11 and we still have gut probs but she sleeps the night.I use ASD vitamin's by Lee Silsby. > > Hello All, > > Back in April of last year it was confirmed that my son had a pretty bad yeast overgrowth. Being lead by a MD we attempted to treat it with Diflucan, but had little success. We moved and as a result of the move we stopped giving our son him the Diflucan in early September. > > In late September my son caught a flu\cold that gave him a minor earache and against better judgement we followed another MD's advice and gave him a course of antibiotics. So we began him on program to naturally address the yeast. Well about a week into treatment (this week) all of the behavior discussed above returned with a vengance. Which in a way was really refreshing to see, because it clearly confirmed that a yeast overgrowth was the root of his problems. However, the problem now is how do we get him to go to sleep? Even with the Tenex he is back to averaging 2 hours of sleep with fits of loud screaming and squeeling throughout the night. > > My Wife and I are familiar with the treatment protocol for yeast e.g Probiotics, GSE, Caprilic Acid and the supporting enzymes like No-Fenol and Candidex. Virustop being a enzyme I'm not sure that he could get too much of it? > > > Thanks, > Donnie >

Our son had a vocal tic that was caused by bad bacteria, probably clostridia, maybe strep. Could it be that in addition to having yeast, you also have bad bacteria, and by killing off yeast, you are allowing bad bacteria to overgrow? Just a thought...
