Hi Jen,

Brain allergies may be worth investigating:

Take care...

emergencies and many trips to the ER. He has major anxiety and depression

issues, He also is on the GFCF diet. WE just came from the psychiatrist, where

he had his first breakdown in the office. It tore my heart out, he is afraid

of so much, and internalizes everything to the point of seveve depression.

They want to put him on meds, which without going into specifics, we are

honestly considering it due to what is happening at home and at school. But is

there any supplements or homeipathic for depression.

Well my kids love the Barleans CLO lemon flavor, they both take it right

off the spoon, but do not like the straight fish oil.

WE've finally got him to swallow capsules, and want to try the Country lIfe

omega 3 mood. He weighs 82 pounds, and the adult dosage is 2 capsules,

would you only give 1 for him... Also I have heard about the 5htp--but not

sure what milligrams to give.....

We checked with our DAN! and pediatrician, and they both agreed that 5HTP was

better than an SSRI anyday. Our DAN! said we could go up to 400mg per day.Around

300 is good for my daughter, less for my son.

Hope this helps,

Susi

We use NSI from vitacost.com. Not too many fillers, and affordable. We also buy

our CLOil from there, as well as many other things!

I would give the first dose at evening (it really makes them tired if they are

low in serotonin)with a little food as it an cause nausea as levels even out.

After a few evenings, increase to a morning dose also- maybe on a weekend. After

about a week my kids were used to it.

Hope this helps,

Susi
