Guest guest
We have been doing Relationship Intervention Development(RDI) therapy with our ASD son. This therapy addresses the core deficit in Autism which is social skills. The children are remediated in social developmental stages that they missed when they were infants or toddlers, or children. We have seen dramatic improvements in social skills, conversation and speech. It is a parent centered therapy. The parents do the RDI therapy. You can get more information at: www.rdiconnect.com. You can also join the group autism remediation for our children group. Many parents pay privately or sometimes the State Regional Centers will pay. Our son is also on the body ecology diet. He has been on this diet for 3 years. Throughout the years we have seen dramatic results that we can attribute to the diet. Drinking young coconut kefir and eating cultured vegetables are the most healing aspects of the diet. You can get more info. at www.bodyecologydiet.com. Probiotics have helped our son greatly. We purchace Bio-Kult by Dr. Natasha McBride. You can research it at www.nutrivene.com. We have also done DMSA IV chelation and HBOT. The therapies that have helped our son the most in social skills have been: diet, chelation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and RDI. Wish you the best. Guest guest
For us the MB12 shots were the biggest change. He began wanting to play with kids at recess, noticing what the " cool kids " were doing. Secondly, although we haven't been as strict with the GF/CF diet as most, (we just began it in November) we have noticed a big improvement with that as well. Before, we could only get him to wear sports clothes and a month into the diet he wanted to go shopping to get American Eagle, Abercrombie etc... because " that's what everyone wears " Tami How to improve social skills? Hi All, My son has a tough time interacting with other kids. It is tough for us to watch. I am sure many of you have also had this issue. What are some of the main supplements/treatments that have helped to improve eye contact, social interaction, etc? We are desperate to help him interact better with others. Thanks,
