Guest guest
Sometimes this can be from a deficiency in a mineral, I have heard that magnesium or zinc are common offenders. Mt 2 year old does the same thing (plus also excessively drools constantly). We just started Zinc supplementation, and after that will try magnesium to see if that helps, in addition to enzymes so that hopefully he is breaking down and absorbing it all... good luck! You might want to have him tested for lead as well, to make sure that all of the PICA hasn't exposed him to lead... Good luck! > > I was wondering if anyone has experience with a child who puts > everything in his mouth? I have a 5 1/2 year old and he does this- and > has since about 14-16 mths old. That's first guess also can be other harder things to address such as yeast and parasites Kenny V

For some children, this means zinc deficiency. At my house, it meant food intolerance and yeast overgrowth. Dana
