Both of these meant yeast overgrowth at my house.

sorry, i have no help for you.

but you are not alone. my son won't stop talking either. he is 10, a little

comedian that makes up his own jokes. i think i must have heard, " does a duck

say moo? " at least a thousand times just today.

my son hits his head too. but not hard. he is starting to pull at his hair.

i am wondering if this is yeast.

Subject: Any help for a child who needs to talk all the time? (X-post)

Hi All,

My son has this need to make noises ALL the time. He talks a lot and even if he

is not talking he is making some sort of noises from his mouth. The only time i

see him with his mouth closed is when he is hearing something like watching TV

or playing a video game........Sometimes his constant noise-making is sooo

frustrating.

He also keeps hitting his head with his hand. Not the back of his head but the

top of his head. I have heard of moms post about head banging. He does not do

that but hits his head so hard at time with his hand....are these similar? What

could be the cause of this?

Please help me, any info would be highly appreciated.
