Guest guest
They are amazing, and can help with ADHD/autism because they reduce free radical damage. If you do a search on just about any disease, there is someone's testimonial out there about how they cured it through these drinks. I'm sure you've heard of noni juice, goji, acai, mangosteen, maqui, etc. You need the get the best quality. Don't get cheap reconstituted drinks. How they work depends on the individual, I know for sure they have helped with autism. Some of them have strange tastes, so they need to be mixed with grape or some non allergenic juice. They are packed with various catechins, beta carotene, proanthocyanidins, other PCOs , xanthones, proxeronine , polyphenols, and many other antioxidants. They are fruits, so beware if there is a phenol issue.... They safely lower blood sugar - good for diabetics and can reverse neuropathy. They also cross the bbb. You should give it 3 months of daily juice before expecting results. Oops, don't let me get carried away, I'm studying holistic nutrition and my fav topic is antioxidants. cath
Guest guest
I am in the process of getting my masters in business with a focus in nutrition. Where are you doing your holistic studying? Do you like your program? I am thinking I need a holistic perspective too. > > They are amazing, and can help with ADHD/autism because they reduce free > radical damage. Guest guest
I am studying at a private college in Toronto called the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. It's 1 year fulltime or 2 years p/t. It has produced many competent graduates who have their own practices. I have heard that Clayton College in the states is good (some of my friends have taken their programs from them). In Ontario we can practice with the designation of Registered Holisitc Nutritionist, which allows us to counsel on diet, and supplements etc. Many RHN's also use electrodermal screening like the biomeridian machines to enhance their practice. We are self regulated. It's very good and very in depth. We learn disease pyschology, anatomy & physiology, etc. and there are extended learning classes to take if you want even further knowledge. Most of the teachers are very good. I'd like to have my own practice one day and focus on ADHD clients. My only regret is not taking it sooner. cath
