After I stopped he immediately stopped the emotional meltdowns. Some people w/ a leaky gut will show allergic reactions or diarrhea to certain strains of probiotics. If you really want to do probiotics, go for a cheaper kind - we take PB8 by Nutrition Now. It's still pretty highly rated, and my son and my mom w/ a leaky gut can tolerate this. > I was also giving him GSE for just a few days and that was a disaster for > him. I believe it's a phenol issue? > I'm currently giving him 2 wafers a day...should I try and increase?? No. I would take him off of it to rule out probiotics causing the meltdowns. I also want to ask how long does is take when the die-off is done dying off? Depends on how much yeast is in his system. If you do it right, then there is no die-off symptoms - I didn't have any, and neither did my son. Go very slowly to avoid severe die-off symptoms. > When should one start to see good results? My son's behavior improved within a day of giving him 1/4 capsule of Candex. I saw results within a day of eating low-carb and taking antifungal supplements. Is there any norm amount of time... I don't think so. So many variables. > when should I move on? Move on from probiotics or yeast protocol? I would stop the probiotics now and wait for a while. Do not give up on yeast protocol - you just need to find what works. GL! > Thanks in advance for the help! > > >

Can be either. >>The one's we are using are from Kirkman's and don't have any allergenic ingredients and each " wafer " is 20billion. Does it contain a strep strain? Guest guest
, I have a few questions... Where do you buy the PB 8® Pro-Biotic from? I found the site but no where to purchase. I also need to see the ingredient list but it doesn't show that either on the site. If you really want to do probiotics, go for a cheaper kind - we > take PB8 by Nutrition Now. What's in Candex, anyone know? I almost bought it the other day and for some reason I didn't I really can't remember why?? I wonder if its got rice flour?? Can't remember. > > when should I move on? > > > Move on from probiotics or yeast protocol? I would stop the probiotics now > and wait for a while. Do you just mean give up on these particular probio's we are trying and move onto another?
Guest guest
Either vitacost.com or iherb.com. The Vitamin Shoppe sells them too. Find another probiotic, see if that works better. Dana
