If you change over to this program too quickly you will get constipated - see " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " to understand why: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php Also, if you had constipation before starting on the program it takes 1 month for every year you've had it for it to stop; this is according to Hering's Law of Cures: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal8.php The reason you are throwing coconut oil back up can be because: 1) coconut oil needs to be consumed with complete meals 2) coconut oil is antifungal, antibacterial, etc. so it will cause die- off symptoms, which includes stomach upset 3) you may be trying to take too much coconut oil; try 1/4 tsp. with each of 3 meals per day and gradually increase it Since you are having these difficulties I recommend you do the 9-Day Program: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php Constipation wouldn't cause food and supplements to hang in your throat. If you had foods hang in your throat before starting on this program, your body could be " retracing " such episodes, or you could have problems with your esophagus. Maybe you should see the doctor to check out your esophagus so you know whether that is the problem or not. But please do the 9-day Program in the meantime. Some people need to stay on the soup, broth, Bee's Egg Drink, and pureed foods longer than recommended in the program; if you do, you wouldn't continue the enemas every day after 9 days - only do them every 5 days. Guest guest
Wow , I could have written your post, but I have not started the plan as of yet, in fact I just found this group about 2 days ago. I know exactly what your talking about with the bloating, distension, gurgling noises, liquid sloshing, and the extreme constipation. I have Gastroparesis (paralyzed stomach) and I also have small bowel motility disorder. I am see a specialist for it right now, and we are trying to figure out what the best diet for me is. I really think that I have Candida going on as well, so I really want to jump in and try Bee's diet, and the supplements she uses. But I need to get all my ducks in a row before I start. I hope to start the diet this weekend. I do my grocery shopping on Friday's. Hope you feel better, and get some relief very soon. > > hi bee. glad you're back. > > i've been on diet and supplements for 6 weeks. > > i've been struggling with constipation for several years, but it was improving for the first time before i went on your diet. since i've started with your diet, it has gotten worse. > > i did a vit. c flush, 3 weeks ago and experienced excrutiating gas pains, my gut was so exctended i could feel my skin stretching, and it was as hard as a rock. when i finally released something, it was mostly water, not much bile. > > since then, i've had more bloating, when i eat anything i get cramping and i can hear and feel water or liquid swishing around. my abdomen is constantly bloated and hard, and when i eat it feels like my body isn't digesting anything- the food feels like it just sits there. > > i'm at 2 egg drinks a day. i'm eating chicken thighs for lunch. > > ? could the vit. c flush caused more damage with my digestive system? > ? if i am only able to get release 1x a week, will i still be able to remove toxins > > > thanks. tiffany >

The reason your constipation got worse is because your body is " retracing " it - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php +++So you can expect to have constipation off and on during your healing, just like many others have. My brother had diarrhea for 20 years and he continued to have it for 20 months on my program since it takes 1 month for every year a person has had a particular health problem. > > i did a vit. c flush, 3 weeks ago and experienced excrutiating gas pains, my gut was so exctended i could feel my skin stretching, and it was as hard as a rock. when i finally released something, it was mostly water, not much bile. +++I suggest you do the 9-day program, which will help, but won't stop your constipation. It is much easier for your digestive system to process liquid and pureed foods (blended like baby food). You should probably continue having liquid and pureed foods for much longer than 9 days, but don't do the enemas every day; instead do them every 4-5 days after the first 9 days. > > since then, i've had more bloating, when i eat anything i get cramping and i can hear and feel water or liquid swishing around. my abdomen is constantly bloated and hard, and when i eat it feels like my body isn't digesting anything- the food feels like it just sits there. +++Also do this massage every day: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/massage1.php +++You can also apply castor oil packs to your lower abdomen, taping it on overnight: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/pack.php > > i'm at 2 egg drinks a day. i'm eating chicken thighs for lunch. +++Good for you, but do ensure you are eating enough foods every day. > > ? could the vit. c flush caused more damage with my digestive system? +++No, vitamin C would never cause more damage, but it would cause more severe healing reactions such as bloating, cramping, etc. which means it is helping get rid of toxins. Start with small amounts and slowly increase them to avoid getting severe reactions. > ? if i am only able to get release 1x a week, will i still be able to remove toxins +++Yes, your body will also be releasing toxins through other areas. Guest guest
If she uses magnesium, it should be the glycinate form. Oxypowder works too. Joanne > > I have a friend who has a daughter on the spectrum who is having severe constipation. She is going on day 9 of not having a bowel movement. Guest guest
Yes, citrate loosens the stools, but glycinate is gentler/easier on the bowel and highly absorbable. Oxide will firm the stools. Mag glycinate and vit C relieves constipation in our house. > > no no Citrate makes you poop, glycinate does not make you poop > trust me ive got a PhD in poopology > > oxypowder is expensive but works well > > you can try to increase fiber but > mag cit is the way to go..... poop HA! >
Guest guest
Also, Epsom Salt baths will cause a bowel movement within 2 hours if you put enough into the bath. You will find advice on " how much " to use on the web, but I'd say at least a cup of Epsom Salts and 20-30 minutes in the tub. Maybe 2 cups, but do your research. Also, the Epsom Salts are calming. > > I have a friend who has a daughter on the spectrum who is having severe constipation. She is going on day 9 of not having a bowel movement. Guest guest
I'm confused. Are you saying that you give him Epsom salt baths daily and he has loose stools? then, yes, cut back to only every other day for the Epsom Salt baths and see if you have improvements. In the in between days, put lavendar in the bath instead. It will be calming. Also, a lavendar essential oil in an mist machine (the kind for aromatherapy) or your basic essential oil warmer (mix with olive oil so the lavendar doesn't burn off). Kava Kava, an herb, is also calming. > > > > I have a friend who has a daughter on the spectrum who is having severe constipation. She is going on day 9 of not having a bowel movement. Your pot will be fine to make bone broths. You can get rid of the black burn stain by adding 1 tbls. of liquid dishwasher detergent to water that is 2 inches deep in the pot and boiling it for 20 minutes. Guest guest
+++Are you sure you are calculating the amount of grams in your foods correctly? Ans: Yes, I measure my food on a scaler and record them on paper and transfer the info to fitday.com in grams or quantites depending on the foods I ate. My height is 171cm and subtracted 100 from that and multiplied that with 2.5, 3, 3,5 for fat, 0.8 for carbs. This correct I believe. -It's been a months since I've been on this program > > +++How many months have you been on my program? Ans: Lol, that's a typo:). Ans: I just meant I adjusted my ratio to my optimal, like according to my height as I stated above, which is Protein71g Fat174~250g Carb56g. My latest example was very close to my ideal Fat to Protein to Carb ratio so I said " I adjusted to my optimal ratio. " So I should just keep on going with the diet I'm on right now? I sometimes have shivering and dizziness after I eat too, unless I lessen my fat intake, but reading your message looks like I need to bare with it and hope they will subside eventually. I'll just thank my body for working so hard to heal:). I know I can do this and will do this. I am fed up with my awful health condition and I want to live a happy and healthy life! I still have other symptoms I haven't mentioned and I'm only 22. I always used to get this " wow you shouldn't have so many problems when you're that young! " Wrong! Age really doesn't matter when you're living in a such toxic, stressful, cynical and mis-informative society nowadays. Anyways, thanks for reply and will probably ask for more advice as I progress . You are pushing your body way too hard and it won't help you since it overwhelms your body and healing will be slowed or even stop.
