Just wanted to share that my son had his upper/lower GI procedures done

yesterday. I was afraid of the anesthesia, but all went well. I let the

dr know that I had stopped Miralax and had started enzymes and

probiotics instead. She just nodded and asked how his stools were. I

said softer, no pushing/grunting, still not everyday but better. I was

so relieved at her reaction. She is suppose to be the best pediatric GI

dr with background in autism in the city, but she had prescribed the

Miralax in the first place. DS has extremely inflamed small intestines.

We'll know results from biopsy and blood work in a couple of weeks.
