Guest guest
Don't know if there is info on the Grt. Plains site regarding this but at a conference some time ago, WM.Shaw offered the guess that he and colleagues made that the grittiness found in the kid's stool might be the gravel dumped from the gall bladder which was cleaned out from certain supplements kids were taking. Not harmful and some of us oldsters who have gall bladder stones and gravel would be willing to do if we knew what to take. Found that out later, it was use of Olive oil and Grapefruit juice as well as taking epsom salts. Most kids aren't taking this combo outright but other supps. seem to do this too, not sure which ones... Yes, we went thru' that too when first on the GFCF and supplements diet...black grit. grandma peg ------------------- > > We are in the middle of our first round of mHBOT and recently added GSE and higher dose of enhansa to try to combat the yeast flare up after starting mHBOT and for the first time in a while we have noticed black flecks in our son's BMs. The flecks are about the size of glitter and they are all over. > > I have heard other's mention the black flecks but has anyone ever figured out what they are? > > Our son seems to have lost a lot of the initial gains we noticed right after starting HBOT and so far we have assumed it was a major yeast flare. Are the black flecks a good sign or a bad one? > > Thanks, > >
