Guest guest
hi to all and dana i am on round 2 with dmsa oral 10mg/kg 3 days on 11 days off we give every 8h as the dan protocol recommends i asked my DAN doctor how many rounds will we continue to chelate only with dmsa he told me that we will make this for 2 years as i kmow from studies i told him that dmsa does not pass the brain blood barrier so how will we chelate the heavy metals from the brain? he told me that it will pass the BBB after one year of chelation my question is this correct? does the dan protocol recommends chelation only with dmsa? sophia
Guest guest
Please fire your DAN or make him read Amalgam Illness (noamalgam.com). DMSA needs to be dosed every 4 hours starting at 1/8 mg per pound of body weight, so that would be 1/8mg per ~1/2 kg, or 1/4mg per pound. Your DAN's protocol is VERY dangerous - I have read so many people regressing due to this high-dose, infrequent protocol. Please join frequent-dose-chelation group ASAP and learn about Cutler's protocol. This is the safest protocol out there. He's a PhD from Princeton who has done studies after studies on this subject. And DMSA will NEVER cross the BBB. Only ALA can. In the meantime, read, read, and read these sites: http://onibasu.com/wiki/Cutler_protocol http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ On Sun, Feb 22, 2009 at 8:51 PM, Miriam Shulamit <mirishuli@...>wrote: > > Sophia, > > The next question I would ask the doctor is to please explain to me why > dmsa will pass the BBB after one year of chelation. Because lead leeches, it will remove lead from the brain. It will not remove other metals from the brain, either now or in a year. > does the dan protocol recommends chelation only with dmsa? I don't know what it currently recommends. It changes frequently. I chelated my kids with ALA, which does remove metals from the brain.
