Guest guest
Hi Dana, Yes, we did try one other high grade, high purity fish oil for a long time. And like you, we did believe that it was beneficial, but saw no demonstrable improvement. I heard about Omega-Cure from another autism group I belong to. Several folks there said they saw significant speech improvement with this fish oil, so I gave it a try. You start out slow, 1/2 a teaspoon, once a day for a week, and work your way up, adding a half teaspoon for a week, to 2 teaspoons once a day. We noticed dramatic speech improvement in the first week! Omega cure is tasteless to me but they say the regular formala has a slight lemon flavor and they have a " flavorless " version. They also now have a cookie that delivers the dose. Most folks report no problems giving it to ASD kids. You can put it in juice or what have you. This is a wonderful company staffed by awesome folks. I have personally communicated with one of the founders and have been interviewed about our experience and our daughter's with the product. It isn't cheap, but so worth it. And they know, respect and appreciate the ASD community and understand our challenges. Check out their website, feel free to call or email them. They do respond, and promptly. Mention me as a referral ( Chuan- Riley), especially if you are in contact with a woman named Rigmoor. I stand by this product with great joy and hope you give it a try. And no, I don't get any freebies by telling you this ;-) All the best,
Guest guest
I just wanted to say my son takes 1 syringe full of fish oil in juice or in a juice pouch. What worked for speech in my son was NCD. I really noticed a difference once we tried Natural Cellular Defense, it is clear and tasteless and you only use a few drops per day. I hope this helps. Re: speech Date: Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 11:23 AM For my daughter it has been the following nutritional and speech therapies: Omega-Cure omega 3 oil. Absolute speech improvement (asking for things, attempting sentences after almost no language for 2 years) after beginning this supplement. www.omega-cure. com DMG. Again another leap in speech. Sentences, eye contact during, more manding. Love and learning language video and book program. Interest in language and communicating with others, pronunciation improvement and the ability to read. www.loveandlearning .com You will be able to see how the program works (it's dirt simple) and get all the details you want before you buy. Verbal Mapping program developed by Dr. Mark Sundaberg. This the program being used in her classroom. We just started it this year and I am seeing great improvement in use of language, interest in communicating, ability to communicate through difficult moments, verb use, etc. It is new program and just published. Our district and several others in the area are Mark's study groups. Hope something helps or is of interest.

Guest guest
YES!! NCD seemed to make the big speech jump in my daughter as well. We had done chelation (ALA) prior and saw alot of improvements, but none as prominent (and with much less yeast) as with NCD. --- In , " Corina " <cnegri@...> wrote: > > I just wanted to say my son takes 1 syringe full of fish oil in juice or in a juice pouch. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for your post on omega-cure. I will order some and post any changes I see in my 5 yr old. For us a product called NSI liquid Mega-EFA (Omega-3, EPA & DHA) available from vitacost.com made the most improvements in speech for my child. We had no positive results in speech from Nordic Naturals fish oil. We are hoping that omega-cure may be better and will give it a try. Thanks again! Warm regards, Anjana > > Hello > Can you please post the web-site for omega-cure. > > Thanks > > Vinutha > > On Wed, 14 Jan 2009 17:26:49 -0000 " porschaine94580 " > <porschaine@...> writes: > Hi Dana, > Yes, we did try one other high grade, high purity fish oil for a long > time. Guest guest
or others using NCD - how long does 1 bottle last? I am considering trying this. Can you use it with if you are starting chelation or is this in place of chelation? Guest guest
Depends on how many drops you use per day but I believe there are around 300 drops per bottle. Make sure you start slow! One drop a day to start, imo. Guest guest
I believe the main differences are that the oil is much purer to begin with than most on the market, thus making it a purer end product. And the process is less destructive because that as well. Also, the amount of benificial oil is much stronger than most on the market. And finally it is nearly tasteless. Do call them and ask them any question, or email. They ALWAYS respond promptly. >
Guest guest
Yes, when we first started I think I gave my daughter 2 drops and she freaked out. This was after we had done chelation for a couple of years along with other detox methods. My daughter has been on 1 drop of NCD for 2 years and we are still at only 1 drop. My husband and I take a couple drops a day which gives us sooo much more energy and- maybe its a cooincidence-but only a cold or 2 a year. I think its great stuff myself. My Dad took it during radiation treatment last summer and it helped him in fighting the fatigue and improved his immune system. > > > > From: porschaine94580 <porschaine@> > > Subject: Re: speech > > > > Date: Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 11:23 AM > > > > For my daughter it has been the following nutritional and speech > > therapies: > > > > Omega-Cure omega 3 oil. Guest guest
Carlson's brand fish oil: highly recommended. But saw no improvements in speech for our then 4 yr old. Nordic Naturals oil with different formulations of EPA,DHA etc: No noticeable improvements in speech. NSI Mega-EFA Liquid from www.vitacost.com: noticeable improvement. The improvements seem to die off when I switched to NN or Carlson's. Omega-Cure is using a processing tech. that seems to have the oil in their natural triglyceride form and they are managing to pull off a more desirable EPA:DHA as well. This is my 2c from the info the assistant gave me when I placed the order. Since my boys are already on fish oil, the assistant also recommended to start with 2 tsp. per dayand can move up to 3tsp for better results. Thank you again for posting about the Omega-Cure. Hopefully it will deliver more. Guest guest
Hi , I just want to make sure the address of Omega-cure is www.omega-cure.com Best wishes, Herry P Powered by Telkomsel BlackBerry® Re: : speech Hi Dana, Yes, we did try one other high grade, high purity fish oil for a long time.

Guest guest
, You're welcome. Thanks for introducing the product to us. The assistant at omega-cure actually used the words 'fantastic results' observed with 3tsp dose per day. I am hopeful. It seems like a very good product.
