All placements and services should be recommended, based on an evaluation. How

else will anyone know what is " appropriate " for him?

Is the autism label an educational label, or a medical label?

> 3. Will this new evaluation change his services or resources?

It might, depending on what he currently receives, and what the evaluation

indicates he " should " receive.
