Guest guest
Sorry, Darla -- Still don't see a question here, which may account for lack of response. Do you mean to ask others whether you have a yeast problem? Do you have symptoms other than the one episode you recounted? If so, please outline them. Guest guest
I haven't heard of this, but I am new to the treatment of this beast. I had a blood glucose challenge test done a few weeks ago. I fasted for 12 hours, drank this nasty glucose stuff and then they took my blood one hour and then two hours after. they were supposed to go a third hour, but my blood glucose dropped to 41, which is approaching potentially life threatening levels. Is that any way related to what you did??? Guest guest
Hello: my opinion is: The number one way to check for a Yeast overgrowth is: " check the chid's tongue upon awakening; if there is a 'thin or thick coat of White looking stuff on their tongue or their gums... this is a sign of an " overgrowth of Yeast; we all have Yeast which is necessary; only when it overgrows does Yeast cause a problem by feeding Bacteria: THE NO. 1 CURE I KNOW OF FOR " YEAST IS *A DAILY PRO-BIOTIC; either as a pro-bitoic tablet; pill; powder or TABLSESPOON PLAIN YOGURT DAILY.- -- In , " cvaseer " <aysha_vaseer@...> wrote: > > Hi > > When this is maybe a stupid question..but when parents are talking > about their kids having yeast problems what symptoms are their > children presenting with. > > thanks > > Vaseer >
Guest guest
ps another test for Yeast overgrowth is; Check the child's stool in the am to see if a think or thick coat of something like a white film is on the stools; this can mean Yeast; there is also a Spittle test; of a drop of Saliva in a drop of water; if I find the details of this test I will forward to this forum. Yeast itself lives in the Intestional track; beginning in the mouth; this is why Pro-bitoic therapy works; as the Probitois line the tract with Good Bacteria which fight the Yeast and other bad " bacteria. Guest guest
OR you can do a MAP or CDSA and yeast and Clostridia will show the yeast levels. My GS has no problems with stools and only a thin white coating barely visible on his tongue but his yeast and Clostridia markers are off the charts on a test. Threelac, Kirkman’s Yeast Aide and Biocidin, Garlic, and Oregon Grape, GSE as well as tons of probiotics, Florastor, Klaire Labs TherbioticComplete are rotated throughout the week and seem to do a pretty good job of keeping both down to a nearly non detectable level. BUT if I let up at all it is right back there and he is so “off” and laughing and spinning like a drunken sailor. Guest guest
For my son, 1. Bright red cheeks with a sandpaper texture. I thought it was excema for a long time but it went away within 3 days of starting pro- biotics. 2. Yellow poop 3. Being very emotional-like me saying " no you can't have a cookie " and him starting to cry immediately. Normally he tries to negotiate.:-) Different kids present differently. Some good websites with information on yeast are www.danasview.net www.enzymestuff.com Sorry I don't know how to hyperlink these. > > Hi > > When this is maybe a stupid question..but when parents are talking > about their kids having yeast problems what symptoms are their > children presenting with. > > thanks > > Vaseer >

Guest guest
Yes. It is called Yeast Fighters. It has garlic, acidophilus, caprylic acid, more. You can get it from vitacost or iherb. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Guest guest
My 3.5 yr old son is having a regression - from a not very huge progression in the first place - and it's driving me crazy. His sleeping has gotten worse, worse even than before we started enzymes. He sleeps 11 - 4 and then 7-11 or so. Or not. He's cranky. Wakes up cranky. That's new. He used to be cranky here and there, but now, it's most of the day. He's hyperactive. Goes from giggly to livid in no time flat. Flits around from toy to toy. Won't sit still for a book. Is doing weird things again. Like insisting that the dog's food belongs *in* the dog's water. The flatulence. OMG the flatulence. History: Started taking digestive enzymes and probiotics a couple of months ago. Showed pretty immediate improvement in language, focus, affection, engagement. The regression started about 2 weeks ago when we introduced DMG, L-glutamine, melatonin, and inulin. Stopped the DMG on the DAN's advice. That seemed not to help, but make matters even worse. Could l-glutamine, melatonin, or inulin increase yeasties? Does one of these sound like a crazy culprit to you? Because my husband and I are back on kid duty, and for a while, he was doing well enough that we could do dishes or laundry while he played. Not now. Thanks everyone. Guest guest
Go back to where you were before the regression. Stop all the newly introduced supplements. If you want to add them back in, then do so one at a time, and observe the changes. TMG and DMG are available in highest potency from beetroot. Add 5% by volumne of freshly juiced beetroot to a fruit/veg juice mix. Do not use supplements for this. 'Freshly squeezed' means no more than 20 minutes old; no refrigeration for later use. You don't mention diet. If you are not yet on a diet, consider http://www.gaps.me/ It is working for us.

Guest guest
Thank you. We're not doing much in terms of yeast yet, as she (the doc) wants to wait for confirmation on the stool test, but I do give probiotics. Maybe an extra one a day. ----- Receiving the following content ----- From: danasview Receiver: Time: 2009-12-29, 07:08:13 Subject: Re: yeast? > >> His sleeping has gotten worse, worse even than before we started enzymes.
