Guest guest
Hi Alessandra, I cannot eat any fruit because of a gut reaction. Do you think that the REDUCE might help so as I can eat a small amount of fruit? I should note that I have been diagnosed with " leaky gut " and it has improved since taking enzymes with each meal. Thanks for any help, Sam. Re: Husband Diagnosed Hello, Enzymedica has a new product called REDUCE. Reduce has been formulated to reduce the amount of absorbable sugar, thus safely reducing glucose levels in the blood. Guest guest
Hi Sam, I can send you out some samples so that you can see how it works for you but Reduce is not something we would normally recommend for fruit intolerance or leaky gut. I'm not sure which enzymes you've been taking or from what company but here a list of the enzymes we've seen help many with Leaky Gut: -Candidase -DigestGold -Virastop -ProBio -RepairGold I know it's ALOT! But if you have DeFelice's book " Enzymes for Autism " on page 73 you'll see why we recommend those. If you don't have the book just let me know and I'll type an explanation. All those products are suggested for Leaky Gut but just DigestGold for fruit intolerances. DigestGold is very potent. You can compare the label to the one you are currently taking. Feel free to ask me any questions. Alessandra Enzymedica's Education Department enzymedica.com > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > My husband was recently been diagnosed with Diabetes 2. Guest guest
Hi Alessandra, many thanks for informative reply. I currently take one DigestGold pill with each meal and one Candidase at bedtime. Could it be that I should be taking more than one DigestGold pill with each meal, thus enabling me to eat some fruit? I will also purchase and add Virastop at bedtime. Thanks again, Sam. Guest guest
Hi Sam, I spoke with our technical advisors and they mentioned that you can try to increase the amount you are currently taking or opening the capsule before swallowing it. They have seen good results with people opening the capsule. Of course with Leaky Gut it may take some time. Guest guest
Hello , Yes all of those products are ones we recommend for individuals with Leaky Gut. In 's book she states " Several factors can lead to leaky gut, either occurring individually or working together. Any activity, whether chemical or physical, that stimulates the pores in the intestines and keeps them open for too long can lead to increased permeability. Some common sources follow. " -Yeast -Dysbiosis- Dysbiosis is when the internal gut microbial populations are not in sufficient balance for good health. Besides the physical damage created by an imbalance of intestinal microbes, bacteria and yeast give off many toxins. -Environment toxins- When the body's detoxification system is overloaded or dysfunctional, environment toxins from either inside or outside the body may build up. Some of these compounds may irritate the intestinal lining. The constant inflammation and immune system activity produced can create a more permeable gut wall. -Chronic Stress- stress suppresses the immune system and can alter intestinal physiological function, increase gut permeability, and cause inflammation. A healthy immune system can block out typical pathogens. -Inflammation- Anything causing inflammation may lead to leaky gut. Inflammation can results from insufficiently broken-down food or infections of any kind. -Constantly active immune system -Medications - Diet -Zinc Deficiency- An interesting finding is that many individuals with autism conditions seem to have a zinc deficiency. Zinc is necessary in maintaining intestinal wall integrity. Supplementing with Zinc could contribute significantly to healing a leaky gut in about eight weeks. So Virastop supports the immune system, destroys toxins in the body. Candidase helps with the yeast. DigestGold with each meal will help properly digest the food. ProBio will put good bacteria back in. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
