Guest guest
This sounds like oxalate dumping. Do you know what his oxlate levels are? Karla > > Hi All: My ASD son has intermittent hot, red feet with pain in the soles of his feet. Any ideas on what could be causing this? He's on the usual assortment of supps: Brainchild sensitive multi, B12 shots, B6 + magnesium, zinc, melatonin. Thanks in advance! > > Robin >
Guest guest
I don't know what his current levels are, just that he was spilling oxalates into his urine at one time (a year and a half ago). What is the best way to determine whether he has an issue? > > > > Hi All: My ASD son has intermittent hot, red feet with pain in the soles of his feet. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Guest guest
An organic acid test will tell you the oxalic acid levels. Have you looked at the Low Oxalate Diet? My son has oxalate issues and the diet has been a big help. His dumping symptoms are different (Sandy BMs), but a few members of the Group, Trying Low Oxalates, have mentioned burning feet as one of the dumping signs.
