Hi Una,

We had pica, boy did we have pica! And paper products were also my daughters

favorite, although cloth (especially the strings she could pull with her

teeth...) was a big favorite too. What solved it for us was a full spectrum

mineral supplement. Within hours we could see a difference, within days it was

just gone. We use Nutri-West's Trace Min Plus. We got our dosage based on muscle

testing at our chiropractors. Another upside is that this seems to have helped

her oral stims too. And finally, this supplement provides the magnesium and B-6

she needs for her DMG supplement.

I tried mineral supplements for this based on the advice of a number of other

parents with spectrum kids.

Hope this helps.

Hi, Thanks for sharing the info. My younger one (4) used to chew

clothes and had teeth grinding. We are trying Mega-minerals from Brain

Child and a liquid Cal-Mag-Zn supplement (given away from the

mega-minerals) and it has helped a lot.

Warm regards,

Anjana parker
