Guest guest
More info I forgot to add: Possible Thyroid issues, TSH was 3.32, but ped didn't think that was an issue, thinking about supplementing myself with Idoral becuase I think I need it and it is passed on in breast milk. For some reason, all the dr's are reluctant to run tests. I guess they just think I'm another wacko mom who thinks her kid can't possibly be with holding. So she has NOT had a comprehensive stool exam, but they did a ova/parasite/WBC/fecal fat that was normal. We are not doing SCD or GAPS, but I am limiting grains and sugars because I have observed that certain ones must feed the bacteria because she bloats up and then doesn't want to eat anything. Oh, yeah, and I found something in the archives about carotene conversion. My dd often has orange poop after eating a lot of carrots, squash, or oranges. Maybe this ties in with the thyroid function issue? Regardless, I just need to kick this bacteria to the curb so my kid can start absorbing nutrients again! Thanks again,

This sounds like yeast. > Oh, yeah, and I found something in the archives about carotene > conversion. My dd often has orange poop after eating a lot of carrots, > squash, or oranges. Maybe this ties in with the thyroid function issue? Yes, proper carotene conversion requires vitamin C, zinc, and thyroid hormone.
