Guest guest
I am certainly no expert but maybe an epsoms salt bath, so activated charcoal and some high protease enzymes might help. Not sure. From: West <shanwest@...> Subject: Yipe, food mix up " " < > Date: Monday, March 22, 2010, 9:20 PM Â My son was given goat's milk this weekend (mistakenly thought because he wasn't allowed cow's milk that goat's would be okay. yeah, not so much). So now he's Nutty McCrazington. Any ideas for what I can give him to help him get over this, calm down, and feel better? By Nutty McCrazington, I mean, he decided to do laundry (i.e. he dumped 3L of detergent on the floor), then, while I was cleaning it, climbed the chair and tried to climb the shelving unit. Is trying to do somersaults down the stairs. Is vocal stimming so loudly it's hurting my ears (aaaaa da aaaaa! over and over again). Climbs people. Is spitting everywhere. Has peed in his room about 4 times today (he's been potty trained since 2.5 - he's 4 now). Will NOT keep shoes on anywhere. Is harrassing the dog. Gets mad at his little brother (who, because he's teething is the Biggest Sucky Baby EVER, and is therefore crying every time Nutty McCrazington so much as touches him). It just goes on and on... Guest guest
Tonic water can also be helpful. > > From: West <shanwest@...> > Subject: Yipe, food mix up > " " < > > Date: Monday, March 22, 2010, 9:20 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > My son was given goat's milk this weekend (mistakenly thought because he wasn't allowed cow's milk that goat's would be okay. yeah, not so much). Guest guest
Epsom salt baths will help to move things along and maybe extra probiotics to help his gut from being hammered. We all do this. That's how we know what they can or can't eat. Cute nickname btw > > > > From: West <shanwest@> > > Subject: Yipe, food mix up > > " " < > > > Date: Monday, March 22, 2010, 9:20 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My son was given goat's milk this weekend (mistakenly thought because he wasn't allowed cow's milk that goat's would be okay. yeah, not so much). Guest guest
I gave him an epsom salt bath this afternoon and some poppyseed extract (on the advice of the DAN doc). He's still insane, but less so. Thank GOD. Because he's driving me nuts too. He took off on me today in Superstore (a big grocery store). He's trying to hang upside down everywhere. He's falling to the ground randomly - controlled falling. And he's just so non-receptive. Things he can do, he won't. It's so frustrating. I'm glad you like the name. I try to keep my sense of humour. Otherwise, I think I'd lose it entirely. ----- Receiving the following content ----- From: AngieM Receiver: Time: 2010-03-23, 11:42:37 Subject: Re: Yipe, food mix up >Epsom salt baths will help to move things along and maybe extra probiotics to help his gut from being hammered. Guest guest
I've found a sense of humor is imperitive for parenting:) Glad he's starting to do better. My son gets the same way. My kids started this awful stuff on Sunday and by today I saw a lot of improvement in their behavior. So hopefully tomorrow they'll be over it:)
