Hi Jen,

Check out this website:

http://www.enzymestuff.com/discussionregression.htm and also this one

http://www.enzymestuff.com/offdiet.htm

It has so much information about this. You'll see that alot of kids have

actually gone off of gf/cf diets and been fine - as long as they've taken

enzymes. Of course I have heard of experiences before too that they've gone off

of the diet without anything and been okay too but this site has some

encouraging experiences you'd enjoy. It also gives a recommendation of what

enzyme to give.

Hope this helps you out :)

experiment, he had no major reactions - when we put him back on gluten, I

noticed more anger issues (anyone else experience this?). Anyway, we just got

our first IgG results back - I know they are not always accurate, but

gluten/wheat came back as only mild while cow's milk (but not cheese) came back

as severe - complete opposite of our experience. Anyway, I'm wondering if I

should put him back on enzymes - we tried it about 3 years ago but I didn't

really know what i was doing and was very haphazard about it. Any suggestions on

what to give him for both the dairy but especially the gluten? Does anyone think

this is a good/bad plan? Have other ideas?

I have gluten and casien intolerances. Casien causes me GI issues and

gluten makes me angry. The whole family is happy when I am off

gluten!

My son left gfcf with HNI AFP Peptizyde enzyme. He improved when I added back

wheat. Casein was okay with the enzyme, but milk *fat* required supplements to

correct mitochondrial dysfunction.

Hi Amy,

If that's the case you should try GlutenEase - it's formulated for people like

you who can't tolerate gluten and casein. The way it works is GlutenEase

contains a modified Protease Thera-blend with an enzyme called DPP-IV. Proteases

high in DPP-IV activity help in normalizing inflammatory response to the gluten

peptide, thus better digesting and utilizing gluten containing foods. This

proactively supports the gut, allowing proteins to be properly broken down and

absorbed in their digested state, allowing the food groups a person may eat to

be expanded. Sounds kind of complicated... but makes sense :)A lot of people

have been able to change their diet back while supplementing with enzymes.

There's some pretty amazing stories and experiences about it. Of course though

that'd be intirely up to you. Hey, your family would appreciate it too I bet :)
