Guest guest
I am new to this group. I have a daughter who was born with a brain malformation, and although she doesn't have autism, oftentimes what helps her is the same kinds of things. She is now 8 and has a history of massive amounts of seizures, developmental delay, and weakness on the right side of her body. She has a very short attention span, sensory processing disorder, headaches, tummy aches, eczema, yeast problems, and constipation, She is gluten intolerant and allergic to onions. I have begun giving her Peptizyde a couple of weeks ago (gradually) and she is now up to one capsule with every meal. I have seen increased attention span, a lessening of sensory issues and less white coating on her tongue. This is great news! Whoopee! However, I would like some input on where to go for a next step. I would like to tackle the yeast issue further, but want to address the constipation issue better first. Previously we have put her on high doses of vitamin c, give probiotics often, and tried some dietary things, but haven't got her going regularly. Anyway, I want to do a whole yeast protocol after I really get the constipation issue under control better. Since I've had some results that are positive with Peptizyde, I'm thinking about trying to add more enzymes, perhaps something like No-Phenol. Does anyone have another approach that you could recommend? ldramagal

Many of those were related to yeast overgrowth here. Try increasing the yeast protocol http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > However, I would like some input on where to go for a next step. Try increasing the yeast protocol, see if the constipation lessens also. >> Previously we have put her on high doses of vitamin c, give probiotics often, and tried some dietary things, but haven't got her going regularly. Vitamin C can increase yeast. Try increasing magnesium. At my house, biotin and GSE worked best for yeast. Dana
Guest guest
*** Hi, I give my son Kid's Calm, it's magnesium. I adjust as needed and this helps with his constipation. This sounds like the dose of fluconizole is not high enough to address the yeast issue caused by the anti-viral. Try increasing the yeast protocol, see if that helps. Guest guest
Have you tried Magnesium Citrate. That can be helpful for constipation. The other thing to consider is that yeast and constipation can be related. With my son, bacteria and oxalates were big causes of constipation. It didnt completely go away until we had both issues under control. Karla > > I am new to this group. Guest guest
Does she have Chiari Malformation? My daughter has that and I am in touch with a woman who claims that she healed both of her kids of Chiari with supplements. One was sent home to die, but they started the supplements as a last hope and 3 weeks later that boy completely recovered. They actually got so well that they had their shunts removed and one of them now plays soccer. No headaches, no symptoms. My son is the one who keeps me on this group, though. But, I have a sneaky suspicion that they both actually have the same core problem ... and so perhaps you and I should keep in touch if your dd has Chiari. > > I am new to this group.
